Xbox controller serial number too long

So ordered a Used Like New from Amazon Warehouse and on the face of it it's like new but after further inspection it looks like it has either been dropped or someone has opened it and one of the paddles is bent. The description did not mention this and it stated box damage only which the only thing damaged is someone has scratched the serial number off the box so assume someone has returned a damaged one and replaced theirs with a brand new one.

I am guessing I am ok to return this? Yeah, you should be able to return it like anything else, shouldn't make any difference that it's from Warehouse. Well Amazon are taking their time to refund it. Was sent back Friday afternoon with Royal Mail which is 48hrs I think but saying it's not been received as yet and no refund as yet.

When I've returned stuff in the past as soon as I've dropped it off at the post office and picked up later that days I've had the refund. Wondering if they are going to inspect it.
