Downloading large files from dropbox
Ask me a question! I'm having the same issues as other people, no antivirus or other software interfering. There must be some sort of bug with dropbox and safari as it works fine from firefox for me. Since Dauphine has been less than helpful, I would say that if you want a reliable situation don't use dropbox with safari. Whats going on here The way we work is changing.

As you noticed, if the files are too large, then can't be downloaded in bulk from the site. As this seems to be the case, you can ask the client to try to split the donwload into smaller batches, or to use Dropbox Transfer to get the files to you. View solution in original post. You basically need enough quota in your account to upload that file before sharing it out.
If you have enough you can do it on a free account, however, you may need to be cautious of bandwidth limits on sharing if its with a large number of people and if it is I'd suggest upgrading to be safe. Thanks for your reply. This may be just a case of my own ignorance but I don't understand your term "quota.
And, if I could store a larger file, does that mean a person could stream it on their computer and not have to worry about bandwidth? I ask this because I have shared fairly large files before with a web link and no one seems to have had a problem downloading.
