Another place to check is to open Task Manager you can right click on the task bar, and then choose Task Manager , and then review the Startup tab to see if there are any odd applications there that may be running.

You can try to disable the programs to see if it prevents these files from being created. If you right click on one of the files, and go to Properties, and select the Details tab, it may also lead to some details.

Is there a pattern on the times that the files are created? Based on the time stamps it does not appear so, but perhaps they are using a certain program when they are seeing the files being created?
